Old Rolls, New Treasures

I love finding my old undeveloped rolls of film. I forget what I've photographed if enough time has passed, and once developed, it's a bit like opening a time capsule. We're so used to the immediacy of the digital image, we don't remember what it was like for a roll of film to sit in a camera for months, sometimes years until all of the images have been taken and the roll can be sent off for developing. We get to go back and add the images to our collective memory and perhaps remind us about who we were and what we found interesting way back when.
